Internship within global development

What is Inclusive Business Sweden

Since 2013, Inclusive Business Sweden (IBS) has worked towards a world free of poverty. We are a small but growing organisation based in Gothenburg, and part of a global network spanning more than 37 countries.

Your tasks

You will be part of an engaged team and will be given experience in working with varied tasks within project management and administration. For the right person, there might also be an opportunity to handle some communication duties.

We are currently working with a number of exciting projects but we wish our intern to be specialising mostly in one focusing on knowledge and technology transfer between the Nordic Countries and Kenya.

To develop and excel in this role we think that you are:

• An engaged and driven individual, confident to work proactively
• Used to and competent in managing your own workload
• Experienced in working / living in Kenya – this is a big plus!
• Fluent in English and Swedish

The details

Role: Internship during the fall of 2019, starting in October and going on 10 weeks from agreed start date.
Compensation: The internship is unpaid and should be carried through in the range of your studies.
Workplace: Office in the central part of Gothenburg.
