The ”start-up” internship is a great learning experience and potential kick-start to your career.
Stockholm Green Digital Finance was launched at the G20 GreenInvest Meeting in Berlin in May 2017. The centre is set up to serve as an independent innovation platform and test bed to demonstrate creative solutions for scaling green finance and investment through technology solutions. The team is led by the founder Cecilia Repinski and consists of several experts and resources for each specific project. Stockholm Green Digital Finance also has a broad network amongst sustainable finance actors and Fintech innovators working in partnerships to develop new solutions to effectively deliver positive change at scale.
Interning for a start-up offers great opportunities for learning, networking and kick-starting you career. You are welcome to include the internship in your academic studies or intern independently, if for example you are recently graduated or in between careers. The compensation equals the Swedish study grants of 10 444 SEK/month.
As an intern for Stockholm Green Digital Finance you will work closely with the founder and CEO Cecilia Repinski. You will support her in the daily operations and work with various research projects. Your main project will be the ”Green Assets Wallet”, an innovation where Stockholm Green Digital Finance and partners are co-creating a blockchain based platform for scaling the green debt market. The project involves multi-stakeholder dialogues with project partners in Sweden and stakeholders in Emerging markets. As a part of your internship you can also initiate your own research in green fintech, receive guidance and co-author an issue brief or article, to further extend your portfolio. After this internship you will have great insight into sustainable finance and a greater understanding innovation in the financial sector.
We don’t expect you to be an expert, but you should be eager to learn and happy to support the team in its daily activities. The more you engage, the more responsibilities you will get. To be a good fit for the internship, you should recognise yourself in the following characteristics:
