Finnish/Norwegian speaking intern within waste management – KICKS

As an intern at KICKS you will get the opportunity to work hands-on with the initiativ Beauty Recycling. This initiative is directly linked to the company’s strategic cornerstone Planet. As a part of their sustainability goals, KICKS work hard to link Nordic municipalities and stores to their cosmetic waste collection scheme. They also make sure to communicate to their customers on how to dispose of their end-of-life beauty products in an environmentally safe way.

What will I do during my internship?

As an intern at KICKS, you will work to increase the engagement in collecting cosmetical waste and grow the concept in the Nordic countries. Main task consists of outreach sales to municipalities in order to get them onboard, carrying out research to map potential partners and sell the waste-collection concept. As well as setting up a best practice for outreaching sales to connect new municipalities to the sustainability project. The end product being a method description on how to best reach out to municipalities and present the Beauty Recycling project to inspire them to get involved.

Learning opportunities

The internship at KICKS offers broad learning opportunities within sustainability and waste management. While the main focus will be on waste collection, there will also be time to learn about a number of other areas such as; carbon emissions, and diversity, inclusion and belonging.

• Speak English and Swedish on a professional level
• Have a great interest in sustainability
• Are currently being enrolled in studies and approved allowance from The Swedish Board of Student Finance (CSN) or equivalent
• Have experience within outreach sales, or excellent service experience is meriting
• Fluency in Finnish or Norwegian is meriting
• As a person you are persistent, independent/self-driven and a strong networker who is skilled at relationship building.
