Join Happy Socks to leverage your skills on sustainability reporting and business strategy. They are looking for a student to work with experts and representatives from all departments to develop their sustainability strategy and set up their first ever sustainability report!
Happy Socks combines unique designs and craftsmanship. The company was founded in Stockholm in 2008 with the goal to spread happiness by turning an everyday essential into a colorful design piece. Since then, Happy Socks have grown and you can now find their products in over 90 countries.
This year Happy Socks have decided to develop their sustainability strategy and created a sustainability team called “Happy Footprint” with experts representing several departments – logistics, e-commerce, product development, supply and marketing. Together, they will set goals, collect information and make plans to ensure that Happy Socks can keep on spreading happiness, and not emissions. The aim is to have a sustainability vision, measurable goals and a road map by the end of 2020 and it will be packaged in a sustainability report, their first one ever.
They have enrolled Normative to help them with their CO2-calculations and they are now looking for the right student to help them kick start their work!
In your role as a student sustainability consultant at Happy Socks you will play a key part in preparing their first sustainability report. The task will require you to take initiative and create fast results, in close collaboration with the Happy Footprint team. You will have approximately 120 hours in total and you need to use it efficiently to:

Where: You can work from a distance, but you must be able to visit Happy Socks office in Stockholm about once a week or according to discussions.
When: Starting in December, as soon as possible. Employment expected until February 2020, about two days a week, 120h in total.
How: You will be employed by Sustainergies as a student consultant. Market rate hourly salary.
