This autumn we are running the second year of ASAP’s sustainability leadership training for students. We strive to inspire thousands of students and want your help to make it happen. Join our campaign team for a unique opportunity to practice your skills and boost students all over Sweden with inspiration and education to really make a difference!
ASAP – A Sustainability Acceleration Project – is a joint effort to inspire and empower students to become sustainability leaders, by giving them an opportunity to practice their skills and abilities as change makers. ASAP was founded by Sustainergies and Ecolabelling Sweden in 2018 and is powered by partner companies that contribute with key competencies and insights from their industries. This year, ASAP consists of major happenings: A national university tour with sustainability leadership trainings and the selection of a ASAP Leaders – future sustainability leaders of the year. Check out the website and blog or join us on Facebook and Instagram if you want to know more!
As one of the local ambassadors you will be a source of inspiration and knowledge at your campus, working to spread the word about ASAP to other students and key contacts at the university. You are acting as the extended arm of ASAP’s marketing team. The marketing team will work with content for our platforms, and your role is the key to enable and accelerate the reach. This could include a wide range of task – your imagination is the limit! – for example: put up posters, inspire and engage fellow students and student unions, join our partners during career fairs, and share content on social media.
We welcome students from all disciplines and Swedish universities to apply. When finding people to join our team we mainly focus on personal abilities and interest for working with ASAP. To get the most out of being a local ambassador we believe you need to enjoy high levels of social interaction and organizing activities.
Where do I work? That’s up to you. The camapaign team, with people from campuses all over Sweden, will work locally and connect digitally.
How much time will it take? It is a volunteer position with flexible hours. We expect you will need on average 4-8 hours/week during the autumn, with varying intensity.
When can I start? In september.
