Student Sustainability Project Lead, for Asker Healthcare Group

Responsibilities and learning opportunities

As a student sustainability project lead at Asker, you will be part of their broad sustainability work through different projects. You will focus on one or two projects at a time that can be chosen to match your interests and expertise, examples of projects: 

  • Support with Scope 1 & 2 analysis and reduction initiatives
  • Support with development of products’ LCA
  • Conduct Employee commuting survey
  • Evaluate and support implementation of projects to reduce waste with customers
  • Update CSR risk assessments
  • ISO 45001 Implementation
  • Develop ESG training courses (internal training)
  • Support with the development of a Sustainability Report 2022 for one of the companies within the Group

You will become a part of a small, agile team that values cross-functional cooperation, so there will be great opportunities to get an insight in many different areas of the company. For this position, personality traits will be more important than previous knowledge and Asker Healthcare Group will support you with the technical training that you need to work on the different projects.

You are a perfect fit if you

  • Are currently pursuing a degree within sustainability engineering, or equivalent
  • Have a great interest in sustainability 
  • Have an understanding of all three aspects of ESG
  • Have excellent written communication skills in English (you will be translating risk assessments into written material to be used for decision making)
  • Have language skills in English (fluency in writing and speaking) and Swedish (meriting)
  • As a person you are eager to learn new things (as the projects may differ) and self-driven  (as you will be leading your own projects and working in a small team), with improvement orientation and great flexibility (in order to be able to shift focus between different projects and tasks). 

Additional information

Location: Asker’s office in Stockholm or Malmö, flexibility for some remote work
Type of contract: Part-time (10-20 hours per week), starting in April 2022 and running until October 2022. Might be extended through mutual agreement.
Start date: During April 2022
