Borders don’t hinder great collaboration – Purple IVY’s experts can work from anywhere! Although team members are based in Vietnam, Spain, India and Sweden, the company is firmly anchored at its main office on Grev Turegatan in Stockholm.

The team currently consists of seven consultants, each with unique competencies and backgrounds. They’re adding two new colleagues to the team; a sustainability researcher (you?!) and a sustainability communicator.

What will you do as a future-focused researcher?

Your analysis will be the basis for future-proofing business strategies. For each project, you will be conducting bespoke analysis of how society is evolving to 2035, informed by leading sources of research and tailored to the client’s industry sector. With these insights, you will be identifying relevant risks and opportunities a changing society can bring to our clients.

We’d love it if you could send us a note if you thrive in the research world and are curious to explore how society is evolving, if you have one foot in the business landscape and can analyze how the future will impact company’s roles and business models.

You are a perfect fit if you

● Are currently studying an interdisciplinary master with a sustainability focus
● Have a good theoretical and/or practical understanding of corporate strategy and business models
● Have a holistic understanding of sustainability, and can see business sector through the eyes of sustainability
● Are no stranger to research and know where to find the most reliable sources of insight
● Deep-seated knowledge of climate change, resource constraints, circular economy business models, anti-corruption and human rights will give you extra points
● Can synthesize complex issues into engaging communications in ways that will capture business leaders’ curiosity
● Have very good English skills – both written and spoken. (You should have worked or studied in English for a longer period, or have English as a native language)
● Are analytical, take responsibility, are a team player and good at receiving feedback.

Additional information

Type of contract: You will be directly employed by Purple IVY on an assignment basis. Remuneration will be bespoke, based on your experience and ability to work independently.
Location: You can work from home or at the Stockholm office (Grev Turegatan 30)
Start date: Approximately end September/beginning October 2021
Estimated working period: You will likely work 4-7 days on each project. You will be notified 1-2 weeks before a project starts, so some flexibility from your side is needed.
