Frontend Developer with Angular/JavaScript to plastic pioneer Trifilon (student job)

Trifilon’s mission is to recognize the importance of plastics in our lives and make their
production, use, and reuse more sustainable immediately by using biocomposites. Now they
want to build a web platform that will contain key metrics for their plastic biocomposites. You
will create features for users and stakeholders and develop the platform in a tight
cooperation with a Backend Developer. This project will give you great knowledge in building
a unique web platform.

About the position

In order to systematically study how different plastic biocomposites behave, Trifilon wants to create a web platform that all stakeholders can access. What you create will be used directly by the stakeholders enabling great feedback between you and the users. You will have a tight cooperation with a Backend Developer which will give you an understanding for the relation between frontend and backend.

Your goal is to create user friendly features on the web page. There is a prototype of the
web page, so you don’t have to start from scratch. You will also:

  • Create logins for different types of users
  • Display data from backend- for example recipes of different composites
  • Create UI visualization tools

Requirements

  • You have good knowledge in HTML, JavaScript and either Bootstrop and/or Angelor
  • It is a merit if you have experience in developing web applications and is familiar with Django
  • Have good knowledge in either Swedish and/or English
  • Is currently studying

As a person you can handle uncertainty and is great at cooperating.

Additional information

Start: During March 2021
Duration: Approximately 5 hours per week until mid/end of summer 2021
Location: You will have the possibility to work from wherever you want. It is possible with 1-2 visits at
Trifilon’s office in Nyköping, but not a must.
