The third annual Uppsala Conference on the Future of Education and Sustainability
How will higher education and research be shaped in a time of crisis? What are ways forward in an era of declining resources? What role can and should students and academia have when addressing challenges of today and tomorrow?
CEMUS Uppsala invites you to The Uppsala Conference on the Future of Education and Sustainability, a conference that will give participants an opportunity to engage in discussions about what education for sustainable development is and should be, and to work concretely with the challenges and opportunities that different disciplines face today when it comes to addressing the question of sustainability. The participation from students and researchers from different backgrounds and disciplines is one of the building blocks of the conference and the aim is to enable a multifacetted discussion across disciplines and generations.
Where: University hall on Thursday, BlÃ¥senhus on Friday and Regina theater and ”Ungdomens hus” on Saturday.
When:Â 3rd to 5th of May
Info: The conference is open to everyone and is free of charge. Registration is required since the number of participants for each workshop is limited. To registered please send an email to jonas.allerup@csduppsala.uu.se and sign up for which day(s) you want to participate. Note that no registration is needed for May 5.
